Annual Lifeline Re-certification
All Lifeline service subscribers are required to re-certify lifeline eligibility each year.
NOTICE: On December 2, 2016, all Safetynet Lifeline subscribers' plans will include at a minimum, 500 voice minutes OR 500MB of data.

You may qualify for a SafetyNet Wireless Lifeline Plan if you participate in a government assistance program such as Food Stamps (SNAP) or Medicaid, or if your household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.

and state programs where applicable, which provides discounts on monthly telephone service for eligible low-income consumers.
Lifeline is a federal assistance program that provides a subsidy every month on behalf of qualified individuals who participate in government
assistance programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Federal Public Housing, Temporary Assistance for Needy
Families, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP), or National School Lunch Free Lunch Program, or
who are income eligible.
The California LifeLine Program (California LifeLine) is a state program that provides a phone service subsidy for qualified California residents to help lower the cost of their telephone bills.

On December 2, 2016, you may notice some changes to your Lifeline service. Per an FCC Lifeline Reform order, some changes to the Lifeline program will take affect on Dec 2, 2016. Some of these changes are, changes in eligibility programs, ability to use your Lifeline discount towards Internet Service instead of phone service, and more monthly minutes on your wireless voice plan.
