This page is for every SafetyNet Wireless customer, in every state we serve. You do not need to be a California resident to use it.

Ask for, export, or delete your information

Use the form below to ask what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, or to ask us to delete it. It is free and you do not need to give a reason. We may contact you at the phone number or email address already on your account to confirm the request really came from you.

Opt out of the use of your CPNI for marketing

Customer Proprietary Network Information, or CPNI, is information about your service that we hold because we are your phone company: the plan you are on, the features you use, and the time, date, duration and destination of your calls, texts and data sessions. Federal Communications Commission rules give you the right to tell us not to use it to market other services to you.

To opt out, use either route below and say that you want to opt out of the use of your CPNI for marketing:

  • Call 1-888-224-3213, or dial 611 from your SafetyNet phone, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM Central
  • Email privacy@safetynetwireless.com with the subject line CPNI marketing opt-out

Opting out is free, it stays in effect until you tell us otherwise, and it does not affect your service, your plan or your Lifeline benefit in any way. We will still contact you about your account and send the notices we are required by law to send.

What we are required to keep

Some records cannot be deleted on request. Lifeline enrollment, eligibility and recertification records are retained as required by the federal Lifeline rules administered by USAC, including the National Lifeline Accountability Database, and, for California customers, by the California LifeLine program. Those records must be kept and made available for audit, so we cannot erase them and we will not tell you otherwise. Billing, tax and fraud-prevention records are likewise kept for the periods the law requires.

Deleting the SafetyNet Wireless app account

Deleting your account in the SafetyNet Wireless mobile app is a separate thing, and it does not cancel your phone service or your Lifeline benefit. See Delete your SafetyNet Wireless app account.
